Kids' Choice Awards 2024 a Bikini Bottom con Spongebob e Patrick presentatori. Tutti i Vincitori

Nickelodeon festeggia il 25° anniversario di SpongeBob SquarePants per tutto l'anno e non solo. I festeggiamenti sono partiti con la partecipazione di SpongeBob SquarePants (doppiato da Tom Kenny) e Patrick Stella (doppiato da Bill Fagerbakke) in qualità di presentatori dei Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2024, che si sono svolti sabato 13 luglio 2024 dalla loro casa sottomarina a Bikini Bottom. In Italia, appuntamento su Nickelodeon (Sky 605) venerdì 19 luglio, alle ore 19:00 e su Super! (canale 47 del dtt e tivusat e 625 di Sky) sabato 20 luglio alle ore 20:30. Dal 20 luglio, show disponibile anche on-demand su Paramount+.  Lo show, come sempre pieno di slime, ha visto per la prima volta dei personaggi animati in qualità di presentatori di un lungo spettacolo di premiazione e ha dato il via ad una serie di iniziative multipiattaforma per la simpatica 'spugna'.

I Kids' Choice Awards 2024 sono stati presentati in anteprima poco prima dell'anniversario della serie SpongeBob, lanciata il 17 luglio 1999, e si sono svolti in un ambiente animato grazie ad una grafica avanzata di realtà aumentata. Durante lo show sono stati premiati i talent preferiti dei bambini e di tutti i fan nelle diverse categorie tra cui: cinema, televisione, musica, sport e molto altro. I Kids' Choice Awards 2024 si sono tenuti al Pauley Pavilion nel campus della UCLA di Los Angeles. 

Nickelodeon ha svelato mercoledì 4 giugno 2024 gli artisti in nomination per i Kids' Choice Awards 2024. Tra i candidati per la prima volta ci sono stati anche: Halle Bailey, Austin Butler, Sabrina Carpenter, Kai Cenat, Timothée Chalamet, Luke Combs, Ariana DeBose, Ayo Edebiri, Ryan Gosling, Reneé Rapp, Margot Robbie, Paul Rudd. A guidare il gruppo, con sei nomination, c'è Taylor Swift, seguita da Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus e Beyoncé, tutte e tre con quattro nomination ciascuna. I fan hanno potuto votare per tutte le categorie (comprese anche quelle italiane) sul sito ufficiale dei Kids' Choice Awards. Per l'Italia le due categorie dedicate sono:
- Cantante dell'anno: Clara, Matteo Romano, The Kolors, Angelina Mango, Bresh, Alfa
- Social star dell'anno: Kiro Ebra, Space Family, ArienneMakeUp, Matteo Robert, Lisa Lucchetta, Mario Caruso

Dopo i Kids' Choice Awards 2024, Nickelodeon ha previsto un ampio programma per il 25° anniversario di SpongeBob SquarePants, in Italia a partire dal Parco divertimenti Mirabilandia. Nickelodeon Italia ha collaborato, infatti, con il Parco divertimenti Mirabilandia per dedicare una giornata indimenticabile a tutti i fan di SpongeBob: il 13 Luglio sono state organizzate tante attività dedicate a SpongeBob, meet&greet e molte altre sorprese.

I Kids' Choice Awards 2024 di Nickelodeon sono prodotti da Nickelodeon Productions e supervisionati da: Ashley Kaplan, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Unscripted & Digital Franchise Studio; Paul J Medford, Vice President, Unscripted Current Series; Luke Wahl, Vice President, Unscripted Creative; Jennifer Bryson, Vice President, Production, Tentpoles, Events & Music & Specials; Ellen Rydzewski, Senior Vice President, Celebrity, Events & Talent Relations. Guy Carrington e Kevin Hermanson di "Done and Dusted" sono executive producers con Rob Paine come co-executive producer. Lo show sarà diretto da James Merryman.

Tra i protagonisti ci sono stati: Serena Williams premiata con il dirigibile d'oro come Legend Award; Post Malone premiato come Artista Maschile Preferito; Jack Black premiato come Cattivo Preferito prima di essere totalmente ricoperto da una pioggia di slime. Taylor Swift, in questo momento in Europa con il suo tour, si è aggiudicata 3 premi: Artista Femminile Preferita, Star Mondiale Preferita e Tour dell'Anno Preferito per The Eras Tour.
