In regular demand, Stephen plays a main cast role in the much anticipated feature film Bring Her Back, to be directed by award-winning brothers Danny and Michael Philippou. Stephen was in the Netflix series Thai Cave Rescue in the role of Hodges, the lead role for independent feature The Subject from Continuance Pictures, plays a guest role on the iconic Australian series Neighbours, Netflix original series Apple Cider Vinegar short film Jason is My Dad as well as independent feature The Returned. On television, Stephen has appeared in many high quality programs including The Secret River, Childhood's End, Blue Heelers, Love Letters, Last Man Standing, City Homicide, Offspring and was a regular cast member on Winners and Losers. Feature film credits include Disclosure, X, The Catalyst, Turkey Shoot Reloaded and The Killer Elite. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Stephen has appeared on the Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) stage in The Architect, Boy Gets Girl, Take Me Out, Metamorphoses, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Madwoman of Chaillot, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Realism. In 2022, he also worked as Assistant Director for MTC's production of Girls and Boys. Other stage credits include The Odyssey for Malthouse and Black Swan for the Melbourne & Perth International Arts Festival; The Tempest, As You Like It and Timon of Athens (Play in a Day) for Bell Shakespeare and Complexity of Belonging for Chunky Move & Melbourne International Arts Festival. He performs as part of physical theatre ensemble 5AngryMen, most recently for an outdoor public theatre event The Bells.
